Big plans in the works for former FRAM site

A large parcel of land in the east end that last housed one of Stratford’s oldest and largest manufacturers could be getting a major facelift.

At council Monday, preliminary plans were revealed for a significant redevelopment of the former FRAM site bordered by Romeo, Oxford, Douro, and Burritt streets. The proposal calls for a combination of residential and commercial/industrial employment uses spread out over several buildings, one of which would be a new EMS headquarters.
